Clippings, correspondence, photographic prints, slides, maps, reports and teaching outlines are included in the career papers of this long time Professor of Architecture and Planning at the University of Miami. Collection also contains a number of his files on the Historic American Buildings Survey (HABS), including one on the Barnacle, the Munroe family's home in Coconut Grove. There is a wealth of written and visual material on Coral Gables architecture. Clippings, arranged separately in folders by topic, are primarily about buildings and preservation issues within Florida communities.

Research notes on Miami City Hall (Dinner Key) trace the construction and subsequent alterations to the Miami City Hall buildings, 1933-1958. Cards list blueprints and other records in the Miami Public Works Department, architects, date and nature of construction or alteration, etc.

Surveys, site files, newspaper clippings, articles and correspondence, etc. relating to various architectural sites in Florida. The bulk of the materials pertain to the Old Spanish Monastery (St. Bernard de Clairvaux Episcopal Church) in North Miami Beach. Also included is the Plymouth Church Congregational Church in Coconut Grove and studies of Miami and Miami Beach historic architecture and preservation issues.
