Two letters to Dr. Tebeau, one concerning an attempt to persuade Mrs. Stranahan to write her memoirs.

The papers contain correspondence, notes and speeches by Dr. Tebeau, typescripts and photocopies on Florida topics, including primary sources (diaries, memoirs, etc.) and secondary sources (articles by students of his history classes and fellow historians). Most, but not all, relate to the Everglades or the Depression of the 1930s. Some documents related to the 1972 Master's Hearing on the dispute over federal vs. state control of Florida Bay, for which Dr. Tebeau acted as an expert witness.

Tamiami Trail Scrapbook: Newspaper clippings, including maps and photographs, have information on the then recently constructed road between Tampa and Miami, and the southwest Florida communities it crossed. Most of the clippings are dated 1926-1928, when the Trail was formally opened. Also included are clippings on Barron Collier, at the time of his death in 1939.

Research notes for Synagogue in the central city. Notes on cards formed part of Dr. Tebeau's research for his book: Synagogue in the central city : Temple Israel of Greater Miami, 1922-1972. Temple Israel celebrated 50 years of existence in 1972. As part of the anniversary, he was selected to write a history of Miami's first Reform Jewish congregation. Dr. Tebeau, was assisted by Marcia Kanner in the preparation of the manuscript.
