Boxes 6-9 contain Dr. William W. McKibben's manuscript autobiography, The Arkansas Traveler. His manuscript concentrates on his early years, including life in Arkansas, guarding Belle Starr while on her way to prison, crewing on a cattle ship, attending Harvard medical school, serving as a doctor in Europe, and moving to Coral Gables. He lived to 93 years, and died in 1967.
