Scope and content

Mainly albumen prints mounted on cardboard and shot by various photographers. The scenes depict streets, buildings, and the like in the City of Miami, from its founding in 1896 through its first few decades.

System of arrangement

Original prints are arranged by size and accession number in the Artifact Photographs boxes.

Contact prints made from 4x5 in. copy negatives are filed topically in the South Florida Photographs artifical collection.
