Included are Arch Creek, Homestead and Perrine. The surveys were undertaken by the Biscayne Engineering Company and the Everglades Engineering Company.
Model Land CompanyYearbooks, student register, clippings, prints and other memorabilia follow the history of a long time Miami private school. Includes copies of The Frond (yearbook) from 1929-1957 (missing 1943). Card file trays with 4X6" cards list students from 1916 on; information includes enrollment dates, addresses, and occasionally family information, colleges attended, marriages and children. Two of the scrapbooks have clippings about school or graduates' activities: others have photographic prints, not usually dated or labelled; one green scrapbook has dated (1957-1961) photoprints, and appears to show the school after it moved from Miami to Palm City.

Scrapbook contains testimonal letters from satisfied clients, product samples, newspaper clippings and photographs. A separate set of photographs includes images of Spiegel's art work and the company's office and employees at work. Also includes a potato chip bag and images of the delivery truck for Dee-Licious Products, the potato chips processing business that Spiegel started soon after his arrival in Miami in 1945.
Mirror Poster Printing, IncThis collection consists of almost all of the Shayne novels, often in successive editions with varying cover art, as well as a long run of the Shayne magazine from the 1950s to the 1980s. The collection could be important to researchers because of the long, forty-year span of publication and the ways in which the novels and the magazine reflected changing times in Miami and South Florida.
Mohl, Raymond A., 1939-2015The bulk of the collection consists of colored slides organized topically. A set of black and white negatives with some contact prints show views of the county and County Managers and officials. A folder of color photographs showing some County Commissioners and Managers is housed alongside slides in box 2. Images include: Cuban businesses, Sunny Isles, Goombay Festival, the nuclear power plant at Turkey Point, Christo's Surrounded Islands, Little Haiti, Miami Free Trade Zone, the Miccosukee Indian Festival and rodeos.
Miami-Dade County-Communications DepartmentPhotographs pertaining to Miami-Dade area public primary and secondary schools, and their students, teachers, and school administrators. Images showing a number of school-related activities, including study halls, physical education classes, dance and music recitals, and theatrical performances. Includes photographs of school grounds and structures, in particular, that of the Dade County Agricultural Schools. Also includes images of Homestead Senior High School, Southwest Miami High, and Santa Clara elementary school, among others.
Copies of historic photographs of Miami-Dade County places and buildings are paried with images taken at the same location in the 1990s. Includes a list with captions.
News clippings, photographic prints, programs, members' handbooks and other memorabilia record the activities of the Women's Panhellenic Association of Miami. There is a list of past presidents on the flyleaf of the 1941-1944 scrapbook. The 1953-1969 scrapbook has retirement notices and funeral eulogy for Mary B. Merritt, longtime historian for the Association. Miss Merritt was Dean of Women at the University of Miami from 1926-1955.

Miami Real Estate AgencyThe Miami Pioneers Club collection consists primarily of records pertaining to the group’s general operations since its formation in 1937 up to the 1990s, with the majority of the documentation dating from the 1940s-1960s. Among the records are minutes, financial documents, charters and by-laws, lease and insurance records, newspaper clippings, correspondence, event programs and other ephemera, bond stub books, and scrapbooks. Tax records, invoices, newsletters, board information, and data relating to ownership and maintenance of the clubhouse and marina dockage are also included.
Of particular value to genealogists and other researchers are the membership lists and applications which detail the family histories of early Miami residents. Two card files list names, addresses, and phone numbers of club members. Also contained in the collection are applications for membership and yearbooks from the Miami Pioneer Descendants.
The photographic prints include images of Miami Pioneer Club activities, members, and the marina dockage, as well as historical prints of Florida sites and reproductions of historical prints of the Kitchell family. Some of the photographs of Miami Pioneers Club members and activities are attached to 11 x 14 poster board with newspaper clippings glued underneath them.
Three scrapbooks, dating from 1968 to 1991, contain newspaper clippings, photographic prints, cards, and other ephemera. Ten audio cassette tapes hold recordings of club meetings at which guest speakers presented programs on various historical persons, places, and events. A large poster-sized family tree of the Shelley family is also contained in the collection. Also included are completed family tree forms which The Miami Pioneers Club distributed to its members in order to consolidate the documentation of early Miami families. Histories of Eastern Airlines and Fort Dallas are also part of this collection.
