Snapshots and photographic prints of canals and flooding (from rain storms and hurricanes) throughout Dade County. Ground and aerial views include bridges, dredging, construction, locks, levees, etc. One album contains views taken after Hurricane Donna in 1960.

Research materials pertaining to the history of the Florida Keys and the construction of the Florida East Coast Railway. Documents include letters from Key West pioneers, maps, engineers' notes, newspaper clippings, 35mm slides, photographs, cassette tapes, VHS tapes and copies of maps, blueprints and 1950s postcards.
